The Oklahoma City Chapter of the Project Management Institute is collaborating with the Price College of Business at the University of Oklahoma to provide the premium PMP certification course in Oklahoma City. This course is delivered by excellent teachers with practical project management experience. The materials used in the training are the premium offering from Velociteach, one of the leading providers of PMP certification prep materials. Velociteach was founded in 2002 by Andy Crowe, a leader in the IT project management industry. He assembled a team of project management authorities to create the premiere project management education company in the world. In 2012, Velociteach was recognized as PMI's Continuing Education Provider of the Year, and we regard their content as the best available. The combination of local Project Management Professionals with practical experience, the best materials for preparing to take the PMP certification exam, and the Oklahoma City campus of the premiere College of Business in the state of Oklahoma make this offering of the PMP certification prep course the best quality course in this area.

The course will run for four consecutive days, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM each day. Breakfast, lunch, and parking at the facility will be provided each day. Participants will receive physical and electronic resources. Among the materials provided will be:

  • The PMP Exam: How to Pass on your First Try by Andy Crowe
  • Flashcard App (250+ flashcards on an easy to use app)
  • Conversations on the PMP Exam (audio tracks of PM experts)
  • Quick Reference Guide (6 page, laminated study guide)
  • Student Workbook (coil-bound print out of the entire slide deck with space for taking notes)
  • Testing App (app with practice test questions)
  • Pass the PMP (35 hours of online modules, over 500 practice test questions, exercises, and more)
  • Process Explorer (online tool providing a dynamic and interactive view of the entire process framework)
  • Formula Sheets
  • Certificate of Completion (proof of obtaining 47 accredited contact hours)

Registration for the course is $1,100 for members and $1,400 for non-members. For organizations sending several participants, we will provide one free registration for every nine purchased. Because we offer these courses regularly, that number can accumulate and roll over to the next course offering. That means if you send five participants this time and five next time, you will get one registration free.

Payment arrangements must be made prior to 4/19/2019. No cancellations or refunds will be issued after 4/19/2019, but substitutions will be allowed. Once you have made payment, you will be provided with a registration key to InSite so that you can start preparing for the course and the exam. Upon using the InSite registration key, if you chose to cancel your course registration afterward, the cost of the course materials will be deducted from your refund as the key cannot be reused.

For alternative payment methods, please contact our VP of Finance, Cindy Burt, at finance@pmiokc.org.
