Topic:  Cybersecurity Issues / Solutions and Government Contracts

Speaker:  Mark Masters

Topic Description:  The Risk Management Framework and associated processes have been in place for several years.  Yet, there is still a struggle on how to implement new concepts and processes to both protect and support recovery of Government Information Systems throughout the United States.  Mr. Masters has been involved in the generation of the approved cybersecurity baseline for the B-2 Stealth Bomber, and has seen his share of conflicts, especially in how to bring older systems into the modern cybersecurity policies and requirements.  He will be presenting a review of known problems and some recommendations for implementation that can be helpful to any enterprise.

About The Speaker:   Mark Masters has 42 years of experience working with all the DoD branches on Design, Manufacturing,  Test, Quality, Program Management, and most recently, Cybersecurity, as the Chief Engineer and Cybersecurity Process Owner for the Air Force B-2A “Stealth Bomber”.    He has significant experience with the Risk Management Framework, the Resiliency Capabilities, and the Defense Acquisition System backed by a Masters Certificate in Information Security from Villanova University.

Military Membership to PMI available at the meeting!

A special note on meals: Don's Alley serves a variety of breakfast options which can be purchased by individual attendees.
