PMI-OKC Fall Symposium: Cristal Rice, Boeing

Cristal Rice is Program Leader based out of Oklahoma City formerly the Corpus Christi Army Depot (CCAD) Sr Program Manager & Site Lead as part of Boeing Global Services. Programs within this portfolio include spares, repairs, engineering, logistics, and integrated logistics Depot sustainment programs for USAF weapon systems. Cristal has over 20 years of experience in program management and business development demonstrated with her wealth of knowledge from successfully managing and growing programs throughout the entire product and services lifecycle. She received a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Masters Degree in Aerospace Engineering with an emphasis in Structures from the University of Colorado at Boulder in addition to Graduate engineering studies at Johns Hopkins University.
Prior to her role within government services Cristal was in Boeing Commercial Aviation Services (CAS), Fleet Management which is known for the Boeing FleetCare solutions as the Sr. Manager for Commercial Development.
Prior to joining Boeing Cristal’s background includes roles of progressing increasing responsibilities: Pratt & Whitney, Program Manager for the Geared Turbo Fan technology portfolio and technology engine demonstrator program, Raytheon Network Centric Systems as the Product Line Program Manager for Identification Friend or Foe (IFF) interrogators, Rolls-Royce, Business Development Director and T56 Advanced Hawkeye Program Manager for aero engine controls system product lines.
Risk, Issues and Opportunities (RIO) for Project Managers Ms. Rice will discuss how the theme, “Champions of Change” coincide with Boeing Behaviors, keying on culture, leadership, training and feedback. She will answer “what is Risk, Issues and Opportunities Management?” and what it means at Boeing. She will discuss Boeing’s recently patented RIO integrated application, discussing its features and implementation. There will be time for questions and “war stories.”
The audience will gain perspective of Risk, Issues and Opportunities Management from a World-class Aerospace Company, operating right here in OKC.
