The Partner PMO

With appropriate stakeholder engagement and relationships, you can dramatically increase your probability of success. During this session, we will explore the many challenges many of us face during the execution of projects, particularly considering the people aspect of the projects. The type of relationship your Project Management Office has with your business clients can determine whether you will succeed or fail.

During this presentation, we will explore the following:

  • Project sponsorship and what does it mean?
  • When does project rigor interfere with project progress?
  • How do we get the proper ownership over the outcomes to ensure sustainability?
  • Accountability and how can we establish it so the project manager is free from blame?

I will share my experiences with different PMOs and types of project managers, as well as provide insights on how to effectively position and brand your PMO and/or services.
