Call for Nominations for 2017-2018 Board of Directors

Nominations are now being accepted for 2017-2018 PMI OKC Board of Directors.  All offices listed below are open for nomination. Terms of office for all Officers shall be two (2) years in length and the average time commitment of each position is 2-5 hours per week. This is a great way to get involved with PMI and the local chapter. Board Members get to work with a fantastic team of Project Managers in our chapter and across PMI, PLUS, earn PDUs towards re-certification!!

The following Board of Directors positions are up for election for the 2017-2018 term:

  •   VP of Communications:  The VP of Communications shall keep the records of all business meetings of PMI OKC and meetings of the Board; oversee all communication efforts and initiatives to include email, social media, website content, and Chapter related announcements.
  •   VP of Finance:  The VP of Finance shall oversee the management of funds for duly authorized purposes of PMI OKC, which includes accounts receivable, accounts payable, cash management, expense reimbursement, preparing financial statements, filing annual taxes, developing departmental budgets, and maintaining Chapter contracts.
  •   VP of Membership:  The VP of Membership shall oversee general member management and is responsible for member retention, growth, and turnover as well as facilitating CCRS activity on behalf of the membership and analyzing member data on the PMI Chapter Reporting System.
  •   VP of Professional Development:  The VP of Professional Development shall oversee the Chapter training and education initiatives including the planning and management of Professional Development Days (PDDs) and certification preparation courses.

Qualification and Requirements:  
To qualify to sit on the PMI Oklahoma City Board of Directors, all candidates must be PMI OKC members in good standing.  PMI Certification or Credential is not required.  All Candidates will be required to sign a candidate agreement and attend a “Board Candidate Discussion” conducted by the Nominating Committee Chair prior to the election opening.
